Our Story

Nengai derives from a Maasai language which translates to "A girl from God". The word itself comes from the little and ambitious girl Ashley Nengai Allan, born with celebral palsy.

The foundation came from the dream to reality of ambitious parents of Ashley, Allan and Severina. They saw the need to help children facing the same situation who are living in unfavorable environments in the Maasai communities.

Our mission is to provide support, resources, and advocacy for children with autism in the Maasai community, ensuring they have the opportunities to thrive and reach their full potential.

Our Aims

Provision of Needs

Provide essential needs to children with autism living in unfavorable environments. We bridge the gap in resources and understanding that hinders these children from reaching their full potential.

Better Learning Environment

Create supportive learning areas and housing with healthy living criteria. We educate society about autism to eliminate stigma and ensure these children are included in community life.

Comfortable Housing

Provide nurturing homes for isolated children with autism. Our facilities are staffed with caring patrons and matrons who create a supportive environment for growth and development.

Desired Outcomes

Fulfilling Children's Potential

In our technological world, we aim to help children utilize their unique skills in society. We provide opportunities that were previously unavailable to them.

Through specialized programs, we help each child discover and develop their talents and interests.

Healthy Development

We focus on psychological health and cognitive development. Our holistic approach ensures children develop essential life skills.

Children learn practical skills like cleaning, cooking, and sewing that build confidence and independence.

Market Competitiveness

We prepare children for meaningful participation in society. Our vocational training programs develop marketable skills.

Children grow to become designers, athletes, teachers, and valued members of their communities.
